The lot includes about 100 feet of beach and reaches several hundred feet into the dunes and salt marsh [ MAP. Piping Plovers nest on this beach every year. Twice now they’ve selected our properties as nest sites. As we find out more about other nests along the beach we’ll try to post some details here.

A bit of a moon scape, no two trees, but a prime resting spot for sea birds. Chris Percy was instrumental in the transfer of this property to ownership by the Trust. About a half mile off shore, just outside Jordan Cove, the site barely holds itself above the waves. For an image from 2007.
