My first novel, Bitter, Sweet was published by Nimbus Publishing in 2009 and was shortlisted for The Geoffrey Bilson Award for Historical Fiction for Young People. This morning I took a few photos while out snowshoeing. The sun was shining and it was quite foggy around 9:00 am. The lack of good strong ice kept us off the lake.
