Sunday, November 16, 2014. The end of a season. It's so strange, this time is coming to an end. Of Brett studying of Brett being in school of Brett being gone ALL THE TIME. Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Levi's 1 year birthday and 12 month progression. It's about time, sheesh, almost a full month later, but we did have a special celebration for Levi's first birthday. I mean of course we did, we do 1st birthday big, I mean it's a pretty big deal that we kept him alive for 12 months, especially in this family, so we really wanted to celebrate life! Levi is my only official summer birthday (barely sneaking it in) So of course we had to do the party a the pool! I can smell it.

When you have a child that is similar to you, you see your self in them, the good and the not so good you are. And you want to help them, help them to overcome things that you struggled with, things in life that were harder. I want her to know it is ok to not always be perfect, to make mistakes, to color outside the lines.
