Monday, July 5, 2010. We have been home for a week. Everyone asks me, how is the transition going? Frankly, not that great. It has been cold and dark and I find myself curling up in my bed until the sun starts to shine, which has been about 5 pm when at all. Monday, August 31, 2009. Stick and a young bull almost ran in front of a truck. Jonathan was worried about how long it would take to get to the beach, but with the new road from the highway to San Juan del Sur, we drove quickly to Playa Majagual. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Happy Birthday to Me. Started celebrating with a chinese dinner in Managua last night. We were the only ones in the restaurant. The owner was from Hong Kong by way of the Bay Area and he was very attentive, but I can't say it was like Vancouver.
