My travels in the desert sowthwest and beyond. I remembered hearing years ago that London Bridge was sold to someone in Arizona. So one weekend, I decided to take a trip to check it out. I drove up to Lake Havasu City and lo and behold, there it was. In 1968, the bridge was sold to Robert P. McCulloch who brought it to Arizona as a tourist attraction. 46 years later, he finally got me to go! It was a long drive for me, but well worth it to see the bridge and learn more about the story.
