I'm gonna miss hitchhiking. Sure, but we can't go on with it. That's too crazy with a little baby. Isn't it? Traveling with Busses, queueing up in the hostels? No, thats not for me. That doesn't fit to our way of traveling. And futhermore, how you wanna carry all the stuff? Backpack in the back, baby sling in the front? Than we would have to give away our tent, the stove, the boots. To go for citytours? No, thats not good. So than a car? A car we can sleep in. That will be more than 5 Euro a day.

Im Laufe der Wochen. Die Zeit verläuft sich schön. Vergeht alles andere als im Flug. Langsam kommen wir durch frankreichs Süden an die Ardéche. Später an die Rhone. Und wir wissen warum wir das unseren Knien und Füßen antun: um wieder draußen zu sein. Wir beobachten Wildscheine, mundrauben Kirschen, testen Spielplätze, schlafen im Wald oder im Feld, stehen unter Tannen wenn der Regen kommt, und trocknen mit der Sommersonne wenn wir wieder weiterziehen. Wir spüren die Distanz wie selten zuvor auf der Reise.

After getting some munchies at the 24h super market (they even had some German "Rote Bete") we went to one of the massage spots near by end got a relaying food and body massage - 12 Euro for all three of us. After that it was time to head back to our nice hotel room - also 12 Euro for all of us. Here are quite a lot of photos of the night. Trip and Party with Georg and Anja. More Karaoke by Georg.

Walking my life around the globe. Worum geht es hier? Montag, 3. März 2008. I've got a Job! After doing a trial with two of the dive centre in here Cairns, Deep Sea Divers Den. Offered me a position as Diving Instructor. Today I signed my contract and did all the paper work (a lot of paper work). Tomorrow I just have to do an Australian First Aid course (yes Queensland is a bit special - German First Aid course is no good here) and on Wednesday I start work. Links zu diesem Post. Es ist Zeit wieder auf Reise zu gehen. Nachdem ich die letzten Jahre (2009-2014) für einen Nomaden recht gesettelt unterwegs war und meistens für ein Jahr an einem Ort verweilt habe, geht es im August 2014 wieder auf große Reise. Wie lange ich unterwegs sein werde, weiß ich noch genauso wenig, wie wo genaue die Route langgehen wird.
