Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Thursday, July 14, 2011. You'll remember my post back in April, when I was eagerly anticipating this. Pussy willow buds on my weeping pussy willow tree in the back yard. I added a few more pots to direct the flow of traffic on the deck. I love this container featuring Flap Jacks, three different vari...

Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Monday, August 29, 2011. Even tho I feel the impending "doom" of Winter, I still love that Fall is in the air. We've taken the convertible out several times over the past week and I love the smells, the dampness, and the cool pockets of air as we drive into the valleys. Things are a bit weird in the garden. My Cannas are just now beginning to bud and my Korean Lilac is blooming for the second time—It's the end of August! Relaxing together, enjoying what you "have", not bemoanin...

Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Tuesday, June 5, 2012. It was fun to see what emerged from the beds at the back of our new yard. I suspected they were peonies.and joyfully anticipated their opening. They did not disappoint. They are a stunning deep magenta color. And they smell great! My Grandma Rosenau's trellis is a fitting back drop, don't you think? I have taken little snippets of sedum from "old house" and they have rooted nicely. Carrying forward something from my past into the "new". I couldn't resist ...

Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. New Day New Possibilities. Today is my birthday. I am entering a new birth year. It is hard to imagine that I am closing in on the Sixties (that number sounded so much older when I was 20 or even 30! Time seems to have sped up and I still have so many things I want to accomplish. Time to turn those ideas and passions into action. With that in mind, I am taking a new e-course from Tara Gentile. Things That I Know at Age 58. 8226; I am blessed with many f...

Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Wednesday, January 16, 2013. A Labor of Love for Unbelievable Loss. My heart aches. The unimaginable loss of a child. Unbearable pain. The Sandy Hook tragedy touched us all, reaching into our souls for any way to understand how this could happen. Asking questions about how to prevent it from ever happening again. My artist friend, Jessica Brogan. I hand stitched a small heart onto a wool felt bag for each set. Peace Comfort Hope Love. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Maple Grove, MN.

Designs by Linda Thiltgen. Thursday, December 1, 2011. I am excited to announce I have a new license! I received 6 card designs, "hot off the press" yesterday. They will be available soon. For the last few months, I have been working with It Takes Two. I have known about them for some time. Over the years, I have sent many of their cards with heartfelt messages and simple, beautiful graphics. I am in great company and look forward to "the ride." Thank you, Kim and all! Or you can contact them directly.
