Cat in the Clizzle. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. So, where are we now? Well, despite feeling a little battered by recent events, our desire to have a child and see this thing through has not waned. Heck, we're Ironmen.we don't give up. Two weeks ago I had a D&C to remove the fetal tissue. The process went perfectly, and recovery couldn't have gone better. I'll leave it at that. I wasn't going to mention this but I do so to tell you about the benefit (? And they determined the cause of the miscarriage.

We visited a playground in Bethesda that they boys have been asking to go to for a while now. It was a super cool playground and we will definitely be back! Monkey See Monkey Do. Jordyn made her momma nervous and demanded to keep up with boys - she was pretty good at it! Ellis and Becket sliding together. Ellis on the wobbly climbing discs - and loving it!

Holly brought a gingerbread house kit for the kids to do together. It turned out to be a HUGE hit and everyone had so much fun decorating together. There was quite a bit of sugar consumption while decorating which, of course, was fun for the kids! Aunt Holly getting everything ready. Wathcing Aunt Holly put on all of the icing. The Gaylord Hotels do an ice exhibit every year at Christmas for the public to come and see and theme changes each year. We have a Gaylord hotel at the National Harbor which is a beautiful place and they go all out to decorate for Christmas! One of mom's gifts to Ellis for his birthday was tickets for the whole family to go see Merry Madagascar ice style!
