Race Rules | Wairarapa Women’s Triathlon

Courses & Maps. The following rules must be adhered to at all times to ensure safety of all concerned:. All competitors must be 12 years or older on the day of the race. Only competitors will be allowed in the transition area. All competitors must attend the safety briefing prior to the start of event. All road rules and directions of Police, Marshals and St John’s officials must be obeyed at all times. A rider must obey traffic laws (Road Code) at all times. Footwear must be worn for the entire section.

Courses & Maps. Cycle Course – 13km. Cycle Course – 13km. Exit the Transition area onto Dixon Street. Turn left onto Park Avenue. Right turn onto Archer Street. Turn Left onto Church Street. Turn Left into Colombo Road, do a U-turn opposite Lakeview School and Head back along Colombo Rd. Do a U-turn prior to Cockburn Street and Head back along Colombo Rd. Turn left into Church Street. Right turn into Archer Street. Turn left into Park Avenue.

Courses & Maps. 8211; Registration opens in the foyer of the Genesis Energy Recreation Centre. Competitors to begin racking bikes in Transition area. 8211; Registration closes. 8211; Race briefing – compulsory attendance at Queen Elizabeth Park. All bikes to be racked by 8.00am. 8211; RACE START. 8211; immediately after the last competitor has finished. ALL bikes must be racked between 7.30am and 8.00am. There will be no racking or removal of bikes once race has started.
