IQ-Station - About
http://www.iq-station.com/about.html
Hub for low-cost virtual reality. The IQ-station community began with virtual reality researchers looking to provide a VR system that could be depolyed to a wider market by integrating existing commercial (and open-source) products into an operating whole. The advent of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) 3DTV technology in 2007 combined with low-cost camera-based tracking became the catalyst to make good quality VR available at relatively low-cost.
