Hall Happenings: Scottsdale
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2012/03/scottsdale.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Towards the end of January Clark had the opportunity to take a class in Scottsdale, AZ. My good friend, Fran, lives in Surprise, AZ, so I was tickled to go with Clark and spend some time with her. She drove over to Scottsdale on Wednesday and we spent the afternoon in the Desert Botanical Garden. I had no idea there were so many different kinds of cacti. A Micky Mouse cactus. This guy looks like he is ready for Christmas, with a wreath hanging on his arm. :). Life As We Know It.

Hall Happenings: January 2011

Friday, January 28, 2011. Christmas Break with the Grandkids. Are you tired of pictures of my grandkids at the museum yet? I hope not because if they visit us, they will go. Mick is getting old enough that he actually wants to read and learn while he is there. The others, not so much. They have learned that we don't even go in the gift shop when Grandma takes them. Grandpa is a different story. Lillian Marie Hall, 2008. Jacob Robert Buys, 2006. Clark Buys, 2004. Mick Adam Hall, 2002. Eight years ago, Mic...

Hall Happenings: Christmas with J J L
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2012/03/christmas-with-j-j-l.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Christmas with J J L. Lilli is such a good cuddler. We love having this sweet family in our home. Right in the front of the picture, there is a treat - chocolate mice. A Hershey's kiss is the face, a chocolate dipped cherry is the body and tail, and sliced almonds for the ears - all set on 1/2 of an Oreo cookie. For as much as I hate the real thing, these mice were pretty sweet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life As We Know It. We are coming for chu. Cousins = Friends, Again.

Hall Happenings: Basket Ball with the Boys
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2012/03/basket-ball-with-boys.html
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Basket Ball with the Boys. The two oldest grandsons were both playing Jr. Jazz/Rec Center basket ball this winter. We made a couple of trips to the city to watch them. It was the first year Lije (#40) has played. He did pretty good, even made a few baskets during the season. Mick has played for several years. We think of him as a fairly tall kid, but he was certainly not the tallest on his team this year. It is so fun to watch the kids and be part of their lives. Life As We Know It.

Hall Happenings: August 2011
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 19, 2011. Sheila planned the other activities. She had several "Minute to Win It" games. (You can get ideas from their web site.) The cup stacking was the first and probably the easiest one. Megan and Brad. Rena and her grand daughter Tauren. Natalie and my nephew Brandon. Lilli, Tori, Lijiah, and Mick. The next game: You hold a tongue depressor in your mouth and try to stack 6 dice on the end of it. Natalie. Rena got all five on top and a gust of wind came through. Rats! July 22 - 30.

Hall Happenings: October 2010
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Some of you probably read Megan's post on Facebook yesterday, but for those of you that didn't:. The boys and I walked down the hall to grab our jackets this morning, I looked out the back window. "Holy Cow! Look at the snow! I said. There was about 2 inches on the deck. Lijiah looked out the window and looked back at me with the saddest face I've ever seen. "Mom! You let us sleep too long. It's December and we missed Halloween! Sunday, October 24, 2010. What's a trip to the co...

Hall Happenings: June 2010
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 1, 2010. We had lunch and then decided on a different route home. We went through Irish Canyon on our way to Maybell, CO. Then a road to Brown's Park appeared, and voila' another change in our itinerary appeared. These were some very interesting trees near Brown's Park. I called them the Orca trees. After we got the pets settled at home, we went to the airport and took a sunset flight over the valley. Thanks, Clark for a really great day. My Daughter, a U.S. Marine. Of May she went to MEPS.

Hall Happenings: December 2011
http://bebbshall.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 7, 2011. A Fun, Festive Day. Several years ago Clark and I took a summer drive north of here and ended up at the Jarvie Ranch in Brown's Park. It is an interesting little place to wander around. I knew they had a Christmas Festival ( http:/ www.blm.gov/ut/st/en/fo/vernal/recreation /browns park.html. There were a number of activities. Most of them were geared to children, although aren't we all young at heart at Christmas? Clark took a short ride on the saw horse saddle. There were ot...
