Sunday, September 28, 2014. 15s duck feeding video from last weekend. Posted by Lee Pruett. Links to this post. Just a boy in the world. Things that are happening:. 1 We bought a membership to the SF Zoo, which has already paid for itself, because Theo wakes up nearly daily with the one word question, “animals? 8221; It’s been pretty good so far, except yesterday, when a seagull swooped down and took an entire kosher beef hot dog off of Natan’s plate and shoved it down its gullet in 2 seconds. 3 Speaking...

blogalicious: February 2015
http://leepruett.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 26, 2015. One thing I swore I would never do again after Theo was pump 8 times a day, and yet, because Charlie was early and needed to have high calorie food (AKA formula supplement to breast milk. AKA a bottle), I am pumping 8 times a day. Last night I discovered the vast social support network for people who exclusively pump. In the breastfeeding world, there are “awards” for reaching certain milestones—3 months is bronze, a year is gold. That breastfeeding is better. But in the worl...

Friday, July 04, 2014. It is the birthday of America, a holiday for which I am not often around. Some of us are celebrating by eating a veggie burger (probably unAmerican), potato salad (definitely American) and peach cobbler ('Murica! One of us is on a plane to Oaxaca (totally unAmerican. Why not go to Cabo or Cancun, dude! That's the Mexico that doesn't make you exchange precious USD and do simple currency conversion math! It's a good thing that they only sell skewers in packages of 100!

Saturday, November 29, 2014. Food diary November 29. This evening we attempted to play at the mall play park, but it was filled with aggressive little boys, so instead we ate french fries. Theo proved his food daring by dipping each fry into three different sauces, proving that he is, indeed, a lover of complex flavors and budding foodie. Posted by Lee Pruett. Links to this post. Friday, November 28, 2014. Two girls who are very interested in holding his hand! What is with this dude? Posted by Lee Pruett.

Saturday, March 28, 2015. Can't we swap out our current system for another? I have earned my brass award for pumping (2 months), but am going to stop at the bronze (3 months), unless I can feed Charlie entirely from 2 pumps/day. It just really sucks to feel like you are always on a timer until the next pumping session. If I were to die tomorrow, then Natan should probably just put the word "pumped" on my tombstone. The Wire (rewatch.currently taking a break in season 4). Posted by Lee Pruett. Brothers in...

http://leepruett.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, January 10, 2015. I can admit now, in retrospect, that traveling for a conference in a different city at 8.5 months pregnant was kind of nutso. I know I’m not the only modern woman who refuses to entertain the idea that pregnancy and childbirth need interfere with career or life wants in any way. Amiright? I also think that I happened to start some exponential pregnancy growth right around the time my flight left. I was on a one-a-day crepe binge (sometimes two! And their uselessness is causing...

Sunday, October 26, 2014. Oh, my dear neglected blog (readers)(mom)! I have wanted to blog for so long, as it is rejuvenating and fun for me (should I call it a hobby? But I have been very tired and overextended this fall. Let me take you back to pregnancy #1, where I applied for (and got! Several jobs, even going so far as to teach a sample lesson 8 months pregnant while still gainfully employed at my current workplace. It was absolutely crazy because I was having a baby and going on maternity leave!

blogalicious: Long time, no type
http://leepruett.blogspot.com/2015/05/long-time-no-type.html
Tuesday, May 26, 2015. Long time, no type. OMG that recent trend piece in the NYT on the soylent fad in silicon valley. It doesn’t help that I also read the New Yorker piece on venture capitalists right before. Synergy- they both name drop Marc Andreessen! What the hell kind of dystopian capitalist future are we living in? Except it’s not a funny joke, but rather the tragic present. 8212;so they can spend an extra 15 minutes coding or whatever. And this, THIS is what we are pushing kids into? I guess tha...
