Redhoodoos: Creepy Crawlies
http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2010/05/creepy-crawlies.html
Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Monday, May 17, 2010. The females in my family are deathly afraid of spiders. Naturally, we were repulsed and horrified yesterday as we listened to someone relate his story of setting up a campsite at Zion National Park last summer and being swarmed by hundreds(! Of the creeping, disgusting things. Not a couple, a few, or even dozens - he said 'hundreds'. They stalk and prowl at night. The way they move is just.wrong. So - talking about spiders bro...

Redhoodoos: Match the teeth with the teen
http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2008/04/money-drain-of-2007-2008.html
Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Tuesday, April 22, 2008. Match the teeth with the teen. Let's play the "money drain of 2007-2008" game! Seriously. I don't know why my kids put up with some of the stuff I post on this blog. I know I would have died of embarrassment at their age. I think there are three reasons why they let me:. 1) They don't read my blog. 2) None of their friends read my blog. 3) I buy them things. Kids - if you read this - forgive me for what I'm about to do.

http://redhoodoos.blogspot.com/2008/06/bryce-canyon-and-capitol-reef.html
Family, faith, adventures and a Southern Utah Obsession. Saturday, June 7, 2008. Bryce Canyon and Capitol Reef. I'll try not to be too sappy - but can I just tell you how much I LOVE Southern Utah - Bryce Canyon National Park, Capitol Reef National Park, and Zion National Park in particular? When I first married Todd, he didn't understand my obsession for the Utah desert - slowly, through the years, he sees what it is that I'm drawn to and even likes it now when I drag him down there. Connor and I arrive...

Meliisms: February 2008
http://meliisms.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 2, 2008. I know why the grass is greener in Lubbock. In any case, I took a mental note of the greenness of the grass and proceeded to do my shopping. When I walked back to my car, I discovered a grounds worker diligently spraying green paint on the parts of the grass that hadn't yet reached that lovely spring green hue. Apparently, this green is indeed not natural, but painted. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Alexandria, Virginia, United States. View my complete profile.

Thursday, December 27, 2007. Christmas with the Boys. Finally, Anna and I had Christmas with Jeremy and Jacob. We always have fun with them! My second Christmas was at Anna's house in Charlotte, North Carolina. Mom came down from Raleigh. I think she was a little surprised that I gave her so many chili pepper accessories for her kitchen- -I guess I've spent too much time in the Southwest! I LOVE the new cycling jersey I got! We get a little crazy playing games in my family. Christmas with Dad and Beth.

I love this picture of Eliz and Simone! I love columbines, too! Dinner with good friends was the perfect ending to my birthday. If only I didn't have to go home! Happy Birthday to you! You could always come celebrate in CO - we could invite some of your friends over, have a chocolate fountain, etc. Just a suggestion. Happy Birthday to Me!
