WHAT IS THE DIFFERENT BETWEEN COUNSELLING AND PSYCHOTHERAPY? Counselling addresses problems which have arisen more recently as a rule and is quite focused and time-limited. Psychotherapy addresses long-term or recurrent problems with roots in the past. However, in practice, they often overlap. We tend to run our whole life trying to avoid all that hurts or displeases us, noticing the objects, people, or situations that we think will give us pain or pleasure, avoiding one and pursuing the other.

Stop and feel what we are feeling, observe our feelings and out thoughts and allow a little time and a little space. Observe them loosely and with kindness towards ourselves.
