Bill's Blog - The Sequel. Sunday, 21 February 2010. The start of the South Island. The crossing from Wellington to Picton is uneventful and we are soon on our way, first stop is Montana for a tour of the vineyard and naturally to sample the world famous Malborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. Great start! Feb we are in Christchurch but not for long, tomorrow we go racing back across the country to the west coast and the Franz Josef glacier, almost no time to sleep. See you on the ice.
