The City of Williams Lake and the Williams Lake Indian Band were invited by Steve Thomson, Minister of Forests, Land and Natural Resource Operations to apply for a Community Forest Agreement (May, 2011). They have formed a legal partnership to hold the license called WL Community Forest LP. The partnership is based on their Understanding which both parties signed.
