The flute was used on a test track at its normal pitch however it didn't sound right at all in the setting of the piece making it sound slightly medieval and not modern like the film that we are creating.I lowered the pitch of the flute to make it lower than what it could naturally sound, creating a pedal drone beneath the strings also building tension and adding depth to the mood.
