Proof that I am still stitching. It has been a month . I know that my month's worth of progress looks like what most of you accomplish in a week, but we won't think about that. :) Here are some things to share. First up is a little pincushion I made for Margaret. I am working my way through the 2007 JCS ornaments I wanted to stitch. Here is the over 1 ornament from Brightneedle. This is so tiny! Those itty bitty french knots were challenging. Next up is the LHN ornament - love the colors in this one.

Only 10 days until my due date - hooray! We are ready to meet our boy. In lieu of stitching photos today, I thought I would share some of our nursery/bedroom pics. I'm doing better now, still on medicine and still very tired. I did get a lot of cross stitching done in November! I hope to post pictures soon. I'm not making any goals for December because I'm just not up to doing anything right now. January I will make new goals. I will be back in a day or so with my pictures!

Count Your Blessings Daily. Wednesday, October 1, 2008. 4 cups thinly sliced peeled apples. Oatmeal Pecan Crust (below). 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Oatmeal Pecan Topping (below). Arrange the apple slices in the Oatmeal Pecan Crust. Combine the sugar, cornstarch and salt in a saucepan. Stir in the water and bring to a bowl over medium heat. Stir in the vanilla. Spoon evenly over the apples. Oatmeal Pecan Crust and Topping. 2 cups White Lily Flour. 1 cup packed brown sugar. 1/2 cup rolled oats.

Friday, June 26, 2009. Let Me Be Myself. He asked me a hundred times if I had heard the song "Let me be Myself" by 3 Doors Down. I being in 2 year old kids song mode, obviously had not heard it. Finally, one day I downloaded it for him on itunes. I didn't even listen to the words. I have been looking in the cracks of the couch and all around for something he left here, and haven't found a thing. This disappointed me a little bit. I guess i just got lost. I tried to kill the pain. I left myself behind.

We pick up donated food, primarily fruits and vegetables, that might otherwise go to waste. We deliver this food to local human service organizations and collaborate with them to provide nutritional education.
