N October 2009, Robert, Chris, Kitty, Katannya and I went to Donggang in Pindong to see Wang-Ye Boat Burning Ceremony(東港王船祭). The triennial ceremony was held by Donglong Temple(東隆宮) which is one of the most important religious center in southern Taiwan. Note: Robert has an article called “Buring Boats Ward Off Plegue” published on “Taiwan Review” that introduces the tradition. A Place in Sweet Blue.

Tuesday, April 29, 2008. 我妹昨晚突然打電話來，劈頭就問我要不要搬家。原來他們夫妻新開室內設計公司，在萬芳醫院附近租下一間套房作為登記的公司，套房內有些空間，他們夫妻覺得浪費，希望我能搬去，幫他們看管，同時他們也盤算要把我現在的住所出租。 我不知道應該說我妹是急驚風，還是有高超的行動力。她想到啥就做啥，鮮少考量前因後果。上星期她突然想到要處理家裡的事情，急著打電話找我。我因為在上課，手機沒有開。下課，回家後，手機開機。哇！12通未接電話，真的是奪命連環叩。她想到就要做，但弄到最後還是我到戶政事務所，地方警局申請相關文件，可能不久後，要我上法院開庭。 我對於她的建議，倒是有些動心。因為時機恰好的關係吧！她打電話來前，我正好被管委會的老伯伯煩一陣子，我原本就有不喜歡現在住所環境的感覺，被煩後，感覺變得更強烈，想搬家的心情開始醞釀。只是，整理一個居住將近20年的地方實在是一件大工程。 標籤： Notes On Life Experiences. I tried many times to get a colorful picture in a dim room without using flashlihght. Finally I got the above picture. I quiet like it becuase of its colors, my schoolmate's gesture and her facial express. We went to Tajana's place to celebrate Angus's birthday. Our birthday boy is the one in the middle.
