She was pleased that I'd lost, especially that it had been semi-gradual, not drastic. She wants to see me again in May, and she wants me to lose another 20 pounds by then. Get that done today. Sunday, February 17, 2013. In the next room. She raises her little voice. She gasps for breath. It wears me out. Just to hear her. It goes on and on. Because we haven't met. She will not be consoled. She has such stamina. She gives in to sleep. It felt like hours. It's only been 12 minutes. And i return to my writing.
