The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become. – Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. The Swedish Invasion – Spotify Hits The U.S. By willkooi on August 6, 2011. I tried a couple solutions, one with a service called Subsonic, which required some hacking and for me to always have my laptop on and open at home so my music could stream straight from my hard drive. When that got tiresome, I just started taking my laptop to work. But that doesn’t ...Spotify has...

New knowledge is the most valuable commodity on earth. The more truth we have to work with, the richer we become. – Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. Me And Paul Down By The Schoolyard. By willkooi on November 10, 2011. My life has been filled with Paul Simon. As a kid, my parents played me one of two cassettes on car trips: Raffi, and Paul Simon’s. When we lived in Nebraska and my dad preached at a tiny church an hour and a half away, more often than not our return trips would feature. The slightly annoying “I K...

Tuesday, August 13, 2013. I am currently battling a severe case of wanderlust. Maybe it's my gypsy blood, or maybe it's the fact that I was wrapping up a fab trip to London this time last year. Either way, I am itching for an adventure. Until I can get a vacation on my calendar, these are the places in which I spend my daydreams. Join me? 65279;. Sunday, March 17, 2013. Weekend movie: Top o' the Morning (1949). I just got home from Karissa's wedding in Tulsa after a whirlwind weekend of bridesmaid dresses, hairspray, and cake cutting. It was beautiful and perfect in every way. I'll have pictures on the blog later, but while I am editing them, I decided to kick back and celebrate St. Patrick's Day with an old movie. Because, really, what could be better? Please and thank you. Friday, March 8, 2013. This is why I love OKC. Labels: Big Truck Tacos.
The Long and Winding Road: Discontinued
http://susansettle.blogspot.com/2011/03/discontinued.html
The Long and Winding Road. Thursday, March 3, 2011. You know that bridesmaid dress I just blogged about? The one I spent days. Well, it looks like I'm going to be looking a little longer. Only a few dresses left in that color, and my ever-so-pleasing bridesmaids were scheduled to have some rib bones removed, but I decided all that wasn't worth the effort just to fit into a dress. In the words on Mama Karen (MOH's mother), "It just wasn't meant to be.". Que Sera, Sera. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
The Long and Winding Road: Progressing
http://susansettle.blogspot.com/2011/02/progressing.html
The Long and Winding Road. Saturday, February 26, 2011. I've been pretty successful in the wedding planning department lately. After a bridesmaid's dress minor. Breakdown, and my wonderful bridesmaids talking me down from the ledge, I finally made the decision. Oh, and I even consulted a wedding message board (low point, definitely) to get outside opinions. This stuff ain't so easy folks. But here we have it:. Now that's one more thing to check off the list. Cake flavors and 30. Icing flavors. Whoa.
