Interpreting a story with art | The Ebony Tower
https://theebonytower.wordpress.com/2010/03/24/interpreting-a-story-with-art
A truth remained unsaid. Interpreting a story with art. There too was my mountain, rising out of the trees to present an unfamiliar face and showing a long winding flank which I had only guessed at from the map, all equally smooth, rounded and pristine. The fact that the few people there were friendly individuals rather than an aggressive moving slalom course with an apparent death-wish? That no-one had any attitude? Explorations into the Known World. Tuesday, 30 November 2010. Rye to Hastings 9th October 2010. Hastings pier not quite smouldering any more, deposits of charcoal on the sand. I went back another day to try to find the beach from the land and see the context of the cliff top buildings but was unable to find it. Explorations into the Known World.
