Wool & Flax: December 2013
http://woolandflaxyarns.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
A BLOG ABOUT LIFE WITH KNITTING ON THE SIDE. Thursday, December 5, 2013. If you're in Melbourne, Australia you would have experienced winter 5 days into summer today, hail storm and all! Some people might complain about the weather but not me. I love winter and don't mind even if it continues through summer. Not to mention, the cooler it stays the more suitable it is for knitting! But there is still lots of summer fun to be had before that happens. Manos del Uruguay Lace. Stay at home mum. WOOL and FLAX ...

A BLOG ABOUT LIFE WITH KNITTING ON THE SIDE. Sunday, April 29, 2012. I have been busy sourcing yarn for my store. And stumbled upon the lovely Spud and Chloe. Unfortunately they do not supply to online-only stores but I still love their collection nonetheless. I'm sure you'd agree with me if you've ever had the chance to work with it! 1 skein x 100g Spud and Chloe Outer, Super Bulky in Sunkissed colour (7206). 1 pair of 10mm single-pointed needles. Row 1: K1, *(P1, K1), repeat * till end of row. Cast Off...

Wool & Flax: May 2012
http://woolandflaxyarns.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
A BLOG ABOUT LIFE WITH KNITTING ON THE SIDE. Saturday, May 12, 2012. Knitting For A Marriage. Over the last couple of weeks I have had to put my own knitting projects on hold to knit a shrug for myself for a friend's wedding. I have the privilege of being her matron of honor and because it's a winter wedding, we need something woolly to keep us warm. It's a lace pattern so it probably won't be toasty but at least it'll look pretty! I'll share some photos later on. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

One Scrappy Doctor: Coffee coffee coffee
http://onescrappydoctor.blogspot.com/2015/07/coffee-coffee-coffee.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Is it wrong that I wanted a coffee after school pick up one day so I took all of them to our local cafe, ordered a cappuccino (and cake), chilled out and then thought "why not make this a family tradition" so we can do this all the time? To be fair, the cafe provides card games, drawing materials and other fun stuff for the kids to do so we spend some quality time together. That's got to count for something right? Plus they serve really good coffee. And the white alpha stamps?

One Scrappy Doctor: Moriah's May and June pages
http://onescrappydoctor.blogspot.com/2015/08/moriahs-may-and-june-pages.html
Monday, August 3, 2015. Moriah's May and June pages. I'm slowly but surely catching up! When I sat down to do Moriah's May page it began with the large chipboard title from Studio Calico. It came plain so I started thinking up ideas as to what I was going to do with it. But actually I realised it needed to be done last after I had worked out how the rest of the page was going to look first. The kids were getting swimming lessons at school that week, so it's not entirely random ;-). I wanted to document t...

One Scrappy Doctor: Jot Mood Board challenge for August
http://onescrappydoctor.blogspot.com/2015/08/jot-mood-board-challenge-for-august.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. Jot Mood Board challenge for August. I did something a little out of character for me. I made my version of a layered flower-filled rhinestone-dripping shabby chic style card. The reason why is this gorgeous Mood Board at Jot Magazine for this month. It simply pulled me in this direction. And is currently up for preorder. I couldn't figure out where it would fit on the front so I added half of it to the front like an invitation tempting you to look inside. And that's whe...Thank...

One Scrappy Doctor: Just to finish off
http://onescrappydoctor.blogspot.com/2015/05/just-to-finish-off.html
Friday, May 15, 2015. Just to finish off. I finished off last year's Handbook a little while back, and I've shared a bunch of pages here. So today I'm showing off the last of the pages so that I can finally lay this one to rest. I've been working my butt off to get Judah's baby album done and I'm pleased to say that it's almost there, but I can't share it yet because it's for a super-secret assignment :-). Then I've got a spread dedicated to my Grandma's funeral. Not a fabulous topic, but a real-life...
