Wednesday, November 30, 2005. I just talked to the nurse and Tyler has had another episode tonight. He stops breathing and it takes them awhile to get him back breathing. They are not sure what is causing it and feel it could just be part of him being a preemie and they are going to just have to wait it out. Please pray that he can overcome this. Thursday, February 02, 2006. The long wait has come to an end and both babies are home. We have large dark bags under our eyes to prove it! They both seem to be doing fine. We had one episode with Emelia today after her morning feeding. She spit up a bit and then choked which caused her to stop breathing and slow her heart rate enough to make all the alarms sound in the room. It is going to be a while before we don't worry about her. Cam,Kerry,Alyssa,Tori,Madi,Emelia and Tyler (wow what a list!
