OTHER | Words.About.Music

These are words that do not fit anywhere else. Do not cry for them, they're just like indie kids. By trying not to fit in, they have made a group just for themselves, equally as identifiable as the others. Silly words. 2012 - The Year of Design. A late start to 2012, but a start nonetheless. 2011, allegedly the Year of the Word, was a little light on activity on this here site. Words were sacrificed for an obsession for making the site EXACTLY. 2011 - The Year of the Word. Away in some place WELL. I’m no...

The music industry is undergoing one of the most intense periods of change in its history. These words will offer my insights and opinion on these changes. Maanantai 10. elokuuta 2015. Joten tsempit kaikille koulun alotukseen! Maanantai 3. elokuuta 2015. Meillä on aiempina vuosin...

Kanye Paul. Bigger than Yeezus? We’ll see, but this is really lovely. Listen to Kanye West’s new single “Only One” featuring Paul McCartney on kanyewest.com; single available on iTunes now: http:/ smarturl.it/only1. In the year of the butt, Queen B. has the last word. Words About Music

I buy records and review them. Thursday, November 21, 2013. Here's some reviews of some of the more notable releases of the past month or so. AVENGED SEVENFOLD-HAIL TO THE KING. Well, at times these songs feel like an old school throwback, but there is some groove-metal, nu-metal and just plain hard rock thrown into the mix. The problem is that it's good, but not great and never truly exciting. 3 out of 5 Daves. SAMMY HAGAR and FRIENDS. 35 out of 5 Daves. And besides, ZZ Top did the same gag back in '83.

Words about photography

Friday, February 1, 2008. Sometime in the mid 1980's, for reasons that were both personal and professional, I gave up being a staff photographer for my newspaper, The Philadelphia Inquirer and instead took on the less exciting and more sedentary life of a photo editor. By removing myself from the thing I loved most at the time, the challange of shooting deadline photography, I found myself in a kind of outsider's position while looking at and thinking about, the art and craft of my profession. The creati...

Words About Relationships

Open ended conversation sparks maturity. Monday, December 19, 2011. I came home and my left overs were all eaten! We went out Thursday night, brought food back home. My plan was to eat my left overs when I got home on Friday night after work, only to come home to an empty fridge. There is nothing worst than working 8-10 hrs a day and coming home to food that was there in the morning and is no longer there! Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Is Dating Outside of Your Culture Causing Conflict in the Relationship?

Words About Songs | If you can't make music, write about it.

If you can't make music, write about it. May 21, 2014. Little Machine – Madam Life. Many musicians strive for those perfect lyrics, agonise for hours over a half-rhyme or try to fit their words into a rhythm. A lot of these give up in their pursuit of lyrical impeccability and fill in the gaps with oh’s and nah’s. Meaning the lyrics are the forefront of the listener’s attention. This is a credit to Little Machine for staying true to poetry being about the words and is a great strength of their music.
