We have three cats and a puppy, but only one of the cats is original to the year 2010. On September 4, 2013 at 9:57 pm.

Chickenlips Knitting: July 2006
http://chickenlipsknitting.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 23, 2006. A series of fortunate events. Now here is a bad photo of the WIP I displayed in my last post. I'm usually not so easily swayed to do something different at a point where it's too late to start over. But I couldn't resist a fellow knitter's suggestion while I was knitting at Lint. My DH said the color change didn't look like an afterthought (17 years of marriage has taught him something! It has been a Hell of a lot of knitting. Posted by Sharon @ 12:19 PM 1 Comments. Sensational Knitted Socks KAL: June 2007
http://sensationalknittedsocks.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Sensational Knitted Socks KAL. Friday, June 29, 2007. Garter Rib Socks in Sangria. These socks have been on the needles for quite some time. I kept neglecting them for other projects, then I had needle issues (at one time or another, I have used dpns, 2 circs and magic loop to get these done). But they fit like a DREAM and I love how this Garter Rib pattern showcases the colorway. Custom-dyed this yarn for me as a gift. Just one of many beautiful yarns she's got at her etsy shop. Musings on the marvels of God. January 23, 2009. As the U.S’s economy is being shaken in these unstable times, I want to ask you a serious question:. What are you feeding your soul? Are you feeding off the anxiety and fear that drives our national news? Maybe your personal circumstances have left you emotionally drained or frightened. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed and uneasy. Will we take the time to get away with Him? Paraphrases that scripture and puts it this way:. Burned out on religion? Come to m...

Words and Words and Whatnot . . .
Friday, 6 January 2017. Wind at my back. Was a beast, again today. Icy winds sliced like scythes. Between bouts of cold billows,. The glowering gloom and glum. Of the darkened city canyons. There was precious little snow. To soften hard edges,. And whiten dirty roads,. And almost no site of intrigue. Or beauty – to spark imaginations. Or enthrall uneasy spirits. Trees and people shivered in the bleak. And yet, for all that. I know –. Instinctively, I know,. That this day wa. As it's going to get …. At th...

Morsels, tasted and savoured. Tuesday, January 03, 2012. Be still. it takes no effort to be still; it is utterly simple. When your mind is still, you have no name, you have no past, you have no relationships, you have no country, you have no spiritual attainment, you have no lack of spiritual attainment. There is just the presence of beingness with itself. Posted by D Naruka. Wednesday, September 28, 2011. You never know what you can do until you have to do it. Posted by D Naruka. Posted by D Naruka.
