Learning how to have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. On your mark, get set, …. If I were invited to run a marathon right now I would have to, well laugh. I am overweight, I don’t run and the smoking probably wouldn’t help. Now if I were asked to compete in a marathon in a year, or two, from now I would probably still laugh. Why? Why would I still not want to strive towards it? So let us lace up our running shoes and run the race that is marked out for us. God will pace you. Laquo; Too Quiet.

Staying disciplined involves doing the next right thing and paying attention to details. I’m still working on this one but paying attention to the details is vital. Usually , it doesn’t take that long. Key and boy is this one tough one for me. I’m in a constant battle with procrastination, I’ll post my numbers later; I’ll log my eating tonight . Learning how to have an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ. I mean, sure I am giving more and more over to Him but to surrender all is a big deal. I have plans and dreams; I want to travel and see the world; I want to change jobs and do what I love. I want to lie my life and I do want to live it for God but it really hit me when I heard the words I Surrender All . On a side note, as I am getting ready to post this I am hearing these words from the song Mighty to Save:. I give my life to follow.

Sure, but are we so focused on these activities that we miss God’s prompting along the way?
