Friday, June 27, 2008. Last weekend, we went to visit a friend’s property where they had recently planted wild flowers. The passion flower vine, located on the property (not a part of their recent wildflower plantings), was in bloom and beautiful. I remember studying this flower in Botany class. Yep, we tore it up. All the pieces were fairly easy to find: the stamen, the pistil, etc. I decided to look up Passion Flower because I was curious how it. Got the name. What was it that looked like passion?

He sings songs now too, but only the words he really likes, and skips the rest. This is a short post, so I can just make note of some of the most adorable things before they leak out of my brain. Notice his words are in all caps, because that's how much enthusiasm he has for talking. My garden flip-flops = "MOMMY PLIP OPS". The little nail-hole in the wall = "TINY TINY HO".
