This is not an exhaustive kit list but will give you a good idea of what you need:. Towel (the quick-drying kind from outdoor shops is a good idea). Set of waterproofs. It rains in Scotland. Warm clothing. It also gets cold in Scotland, even in summer. Thermals, fleece, long trousers, etc. A good, warm hat. Shorts and T-shirts. It can also be quite warm! A sense of humour.
