Planet Jen: Adventures in oils..
http://planet-jen.blogspot.com/2014/04/adventures-in-oils.html
Sunday, 20 April 2014. This is the first oil painting I ever painted, completed about ten years ago, and I've only done one other since. I actually really enjoy the medium, but it's just takes so darn long to dry! This is a self-portrait, influenced by Modigliani and Otto Dix. I do paint or draw self-portraits every few years; I find them a neat way to reflect on the passing of time and an opportunity to try out new things. Who knows, I may even do another soon. But until then, and just to prove that I. I am usually a bit more smiley than that. Plonked on here by. 169; Jennie Anderson.

Planet Jen: September 2007

Sunday, 9 September 2007. I shall go into hare.". 169; Jennie Anderson. The superb musician Seth Lakeman wrote a song called 'The White Hare' about just such a tale, which is well worth a listen if you're interested! Anyway, I thought I'd stick them on here for all to see, simply because I like them, and they remind me of the magic of the moors in Cornwall. 169; Jennie Anderson. 169; Jennie Anderson.
