The Warrior Returning Alive: Deck Building 101
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2011/11/deck-building-101.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. Hey everyone- Sorry I've been bad about posting lately. Last week was Thanksgiving and I ended up picking up an extra shift at work, so I had less time to write than I would have liked. I decided to come back with a strategy article/guide for players who have difficulty with deck building, I hope you'll find this helpful! Knowing your goal will help you narrow down the types of cards you are using in your deck. Are you building around the Chaos archetype? Researching is most...

The Warrior Returning Alive: Hello and Goodbye
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2012/07/hello-and-goodbye.html
Wednesday, July 25, 2012. It's been a while since my last post. For those of you who aren't aware, Yu-gi-oh! Online had been canceled by Konami, and my new series of articles, as a result, became impossible. While I continued to play Yu-gi-oh for a few months after my last post, myself and my friend Wimply both decided to cut bait, sell our cards, and began playing Cardfight! Special thanks go to the following people. Will check out my new blog at https:/ livebythetrigger.wordpress.com/. It's still new b...

The Warrior Returning Alive: March 2012
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 29, 2012. The Warrior Returning Alive, Alive Again. Some of you may have noticed I've been gone from blogging over the past few months. I haven't had much chance to play in my local tourneys for a while so I haven't had a ton to post about. I am still playing casually with some friends and have a couple decks I will try to share with you folks in the coming weeks. I'm doing something different today, I decided to post some game play of a match on Yu-Gi-Oh! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Warrior Returning Alive: Breaking the Game
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2011/11/breaking-game.html
Monday, November 14, 2011. Having been around the game since it's inception in the US, I have experienced a lot of truly broken cards and trends. That being said, I don't believe many players today fully understand what it means for a card to be truly imbalanced. Before we can explore what is and isn't a broken or imbalanced card, we really need to define what makes a card broken. Was considered a staple in pretty much every deck. He became a walking 1900 Mystical Space Typhoon. Instead of attempting to ...

The Warrior Returning Alive: Friday Deck Workshop: Saber Synchro Swarm
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2011/11/friday-deck-workshop-saber-synchro.html
Friday, November 11, 2011. Friday Deck Workshop: Saber Synchro Swarm. 2 XX-Saber Boggart Knight. The monster lineup is fairly standard, minus X-Saber Airbellum. Airbellum is still a pretty neat card, a level three tuner that can eliminate your opponents hand is pretty useful. I didn't cut him because I felt that Dark World is a threat to the deck or anything like that, I wanted to choose monsters that either could protect themselves (like X-Saber Pashuul. Or replace themselves ( XX-Saber Emmersblade.

The Warrior Returning Alive: Building Decks without a Tour Guide
http://thewrablog.blogspot.com/2011/12/building-decks-without-tour-guide.html
Thursday, December 1, 2011. Building Decks without a Tour Guide. In no particular order, here are my top four cards and combos to help to replace Tour Guide in your deck. She’s a tuner. The obvious downside is that Tomato will not give you a quick 1 the way Tour Guide or Diva will, but he can make good plays for decks who are able to run Creature Swap and unlike Diva, Mystic tomato is splashable in nearly any deck you would also be running a Tour Guide in. Gravekeeper’s Spy/Gravekeeper’s Guard. How to fu...
