York France and Spain 2012. Friday, June 15, 2012. After the Louvre we boarded the TGV. We slept the whole 3 hours of the trip. For the first 5 minutes the ride was so smooth it was like we weren't even moving. Belle, Cooper, Halsey, and Audrey, who were also in our cart, enjoyed their experience as well. For the few times we woke up, we noticed the beautiful scenes of the country side. We were overjoyed upon arrival at our new hotel when we discovered that we will finally have access to wifi and a pool!

York France and Spain 2012. Thursday, June 21, 2012. Who loves the beach? Today, after wandering around the mercado for a few hours we trekked to the beach. Once there we dove right into the water. It was refreshing to splash in the cool waves and relax after the extremely long walk. On the walk to the metro to get back to the hotel, a man very confidently asks Kelsey "French kiss? Once she refused him he turned to Sra. and asked her. Then we continued on our way and got back to the hotel safely.

York France and Spain 2012. Monday, June 18, 2012. No we are not in Rome. A Roman style Amphitheater in Nimes? YES We were absolutely surprised when we came upon this; the first thing that crossed our minds was "did we drive to Rome on our tour bus? Anyways, this arena was spectacular! But through our complicated rout we somehow ended up on the restricted side of the amphitheater without realizing it until the end of our visit. Thankfully we did not get in any trouble for our little mistake.

York France and Spain 2012. Thursday, June 21, 2012. On our first night in Barcelona we visited the Sagrada Familia. It was amazing at first sight, but when the lights came on we were astonished to see it in its full glory. Everyone enjoyed admiring the structure of the chapel, however most were confused by baskets of fruit incorporated into it.
