Tuesday, April 14, 2009. Embrace your shadow and duplicity or go insane from stress. This project is similar to my first project conceptually. I am trying to show the importance of acknowledging the shadow within or inner concscience. I see the shadow as the more instinctual and natural side of the psyche, and the outer concsience as the side most affected by modern society. In my narrative I plan to show the dual sides of a character and the consequences of suppressing his or her shadow.

Tuesday, March 24, 2009. My animation went well, I had some timing issues at first but I worked them out. I am wondering if my background may be too dark but I want to get some feedback before I change it. March 25, 2009 at 7:26 AM. Visually this piece is very interesting/compelling, however, I feel as though the movement of the characters is very slow and static, perhaps they could use a bit more lifelike qualities. More like how two people would look that were acutally on a seesaw.

I took out the last scene because I felt it was more powerful ending with a bang. I am getting used to After Effects again, and I am also still learning new things about it. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. I plan on having two figures on a seesaw going up and down as a symbol of the power struggle between inner and outer consciences. There will be video of ink spills. Inside the figures, flowing in and out as they go up and down. The figure with the ink will be on the lower side of the seesaw as a representation of power over the other.
