Saturday, April 7, 2012. The Tattooed Poets Project: Jo Langton. Say what you will about the Tattooed Poets Project, but it has been dominated by Americans these past four years. Unless I'm forgetting someone, we've only had one poet featured from outside the U.S., and that was Claire Askew. Whose ink appeared back in 2009 here. Well, this year we are expanding a bit more, including a few more poets that reside outside of the States, and our first such shining example is Jo Langton. Here's a poem from Jo:.

I co-organise this experimental poetry reading series and website with James Davies and Scott Thurston. We have been running this since April 2008, the only regular experimental poetry reading event in the north-west of England. This is my publishing imprint, outputting avant objects. The aim of the project is to publish poetry in as diverse a range of physical and digital forms as possible. PhD- I am currently working towards a PhD in Creative Writing at Edge Hill University.
