Going through this together. Had a lovely Wig Wednesday last week where I first photographed the kids in Markyate Village school who participated by wearing cool wigs, hats or other creative headgears and then went to Asda and gym wearing my blue wig. Was only approached twice all day. I think people in crazy coloured wigs don’t seem to be surprising enough anymore to cause any reaction or curiosity from people…. Next post →. Going through this together. Look at me…no NG! Well the images speak louder than words…. Last week we decided to see if Zofeya could manage without her NG tube. Feeds for a few days and a few days turned into more than a week. ‘Normal eating’ is still going slow but Zofeya is now highly motivated not to get another NG tube and even willing to drink the special apple juice the dietician recommended. Sit next to the other kids for 40 minutes without me. Zofeya being part of her class and participating.
