The Doctor theorizes the weed has a weakness to pure oxygen and possibly to Victoria’s screams. Robson, under the weed’s control, kidnaps Victoria. Jamie and the Doctor go after them, finding a trap waiting for them: a room full of foam, and Robson wading out towards them…. Robson’s grotesque weed-hand here reminds me of the effect of the Wirin in the classic Fourth Doctor story. The Ark in Space.
