Thursday, August 7, 2014. Once we left Gourmet Heaven we began our trek back to the hotel. When we arrived we had 10 to 15 minutes to get all of our luggage and get ready to head off to the Roger Williams Zoo. The luggage was in our rental van while we walked around the zoo. Saturday, August 16, 2014. After applying for the ILC towards the end of 2013, I forgot about it until I received an email congratulating me about getting into the interview. On the day of the interview, I felt nervous because only four girls could get into the ILC. I thought, “What are the chances of me getting against against these confident girls? 8221; But I tried my best, thinking of how hard it was to get to the interview; and to my surprise, I got in. Thursday, August 7, 2014. Today was the day that we finally headed home and the last official day of blogging! This whole experience has been absolutely incredible and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything. Well, except maybe acceptance letters from some of the schools we visited…. I adore going to zoos, so I felt like this was a great way to really get a feel for Providence (a lot of the girls from my cohort are now considering applying to Brown! There's no place like home.
