Every single one of these books has impacted my life, actions, and beliefs more than words can explain. A couple of books on this list have left a greater imprint than others, and because of them I have learned many valuable lessons. I still remember crying onto my Kindle as I read the final pages of John Green’s. The Fault In Our Stars.

Thursday, October 20, 2016. A piece of artwork that I was really interested in during our class trip to MOMA was titled. Painted by Jasper Johns in 1954. This artwork was a rustic looking painting of an American flag, made up of newspapers from the time. From a distance, this flag looked just like normal ones, but as we got closer I noticed that it actually didn’t look so pretty and was made up of newspapers underneath the paint.
