Visit us daily to look for your missing pet from 11 am to 7 pm on weekdays and 10 am to 4 pm on weekends and holidays. This listing is updated daily and may not include all animals. If you find kittens resist the urge to intervene, unless they’re in imminent danger. If conditions appear safe, leave them alone. Cats leave their babies to search for food, relieve themselves or to take a break. Mothers may be gone up to eight hours, but are usually not far. Every year, veterinarians from Waianae to Hawaii Kai offer low cost microchipping of pets for a flat rate of $10 thanks to a partnership with Hawaiian Humane Society. Participating veterinarians waived the cost of the doctor’s visit so that dogs and cats can receive the microchip implant at a substantial discount. The July promotion aims to reduce the number of lost pets in the community.
