Monday, August 07, 2006. Three days of heat, beats, and dirty feet. Lollapalooza is better than christmas. Complaints aside, it was an amazing weekend. there was good music all around, abundant people watching, and it couldn't have been in a better location. i can only hope that perry ferrell is in love with chicago and keeps the festival here for years to come. i take it for granted that i live just a short train ride from the park. Friday, March 30, 2007. A raspberry latte at 2:30pm on a Friday. The promise of spring in the slightly warmer temperatures. Tuesday, July 31, 2007. It was only monday. How does this happen? One minute it's "just dinner and drinks with a rep. I'll be home at a reasonable hour so that I can get up at 6 to go to the gym." The next minute I've had one too many appletinis. Yes, I said appletinis. Which is why I got up in a hurry, threw on a the first black dress I could find, and scooted my way to work in a hangover haze only so that I could grab a bagel at Cosi. Before my 9:15 meeting. Ouch. Was purchased by one of the Phillies.
