Just another WordPress.com weblog. Being the on-going blog of a 60 year old woman who seeks to live her life based on affirmations from Dove Chocolates. I cry when I listen to Taylor Swift’s “Tim McGraw” and “Love Story” BUT – my theme song is Pink’s “So What”. I desperately want to be part of Gibbs’ family (even though I know I’ll never be Abby). When I grow up, I want to be a barista at Starbucks and do a tour with Tide’s Loads of Hope. I believe that homeschoolers can teach almost anything using movies.

Sunday, 31 March 2013. A Little Easter Treat. These are the little Easter treats that I made for each member of my household this year:. It's an Easter card with a little surprise inside. The crosses were cut out of an old Bible (which met with an unfortunate accident some time ago). The hill was cut from patterned paper. The background was made by scribbling with watercolour crayons onto sketch paper and then brushing over with some water to blend the colours (such fun! Inside is a little chocolate Lamb.

Tuesday, 17 March 2015. Out with the old. In with the new. This month our journaling theme with the Paint and Chronicle group is Simplify. Specifically by decluttering (oh I know - its a dirty word - but it has to be said) LOL. I glued this quote into my journal last week: " I give up freely what is no longer serving me. I release it to create space for what inspires me". And so I decluttered my bedroom (I wont post a before picture - too embarrassing - seriously! Xo Love, Bunny. 19 March 2015 at 09:56.

Tuesday, 28 May 2013. At the farmers market on Saturday I found a 50%-off stall and I bought these two wooden hearts. They were coated with white PVA paint. There were so many possibilities for them! I finished them off with a coat of clear varnish. A happy project for the week! Wishing you butterflies and flowers and smiles. Write it on your heart that EVERY day is the best day in the year.". Sunday, 26 May 2013. It takes to put your art on display. Do they realise that part of your heart and soul.

http://angelladeedesigns.blogspot.com/2015/04/hi-y-owl.html
Thursday, 2 April 2015. Lately I haven't had much energy or time to do art but I had a yearning for doing some funky little owlies. These were done in my watercolour sketch pad with Tombow markers (gotta love those colours! I have been wanting to send some surprise happy mail to a few of my overseas FB friends and I decided that hand illustrated owl cards would be fun. So these little guys will be flying off soon to their various destinations across the sea :. Wishing you all a very blessed Easter time.
