Ta'izsearching for the hotel. Aden is not a pretty place and the city reminds me nothing of the rest of Yemen and a lot of other developing island countries with its colorful (white, pastel pinks, blues, greens) buildings and soviet style housing blocks. I recently came to my attention that I have neglected to mention some of the mundane details of living in Yemen. Although details can be pulled from my other entries, there are quite a few things that I see everyday that I fail to mention in my write ups. I haven't seen any major American food chains here, and even if I did, I wouldn't eat at them.
