Democracy, firstly, is a political system in which the supreme power lies in a body of citizens who can elect people to represent them. For the purpose of the discussion, stability refers to the political stability of a society. Stability in society refers to a period where the country is making affirmative progress with no disruption economically, socially nor politically.
