I’ve drafted a lot and posted nothing, because my drafted posts were whiny, with awesome titles like “Disappointed.” And yet, I’ve had amazing things happen in the past month, but I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. So, here’s the forest. Finish time was 1:00:29. Next time, it’ll be under an hour. For sure. Dimity reac...

Just Go | Running is My Therapy
https://runningismytherapydotcom.wordpress.com/2013/05/17/just-go
Running is My Therapy. I've lost a lot of pounds and gained a new head space. I Didn’t Mean To →. Posted by Amy Runs. Yesterday I overslept, so instead of a peaceful morning run, I ended up with a jogging stroller run in the afternoon with a feisty four-year-old and a nap-groggy-and-grumpy two-year-old. Those two runs are almost the same, right? Oh Wait. No. One of them is a LOT longer, even if all I managed was two miles before I just wanted to chuck the stroller into the creek. Running is My Therapy. I've lost a lot of pounds and gained a new head space. Letting Go →. Hill Repeats – I Like It. Posted by Amy Runs. I hate hills. Really. If you look at my data (because I’m a nerd with a running problem), you’d actually see that only a few months ago,. I’d hit a hill, my heart rate would spike and my pace would slow. Now, I hate hills less, and my heart rate and pace don’t change just because I see one coming up, but I’m still not a fan. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. You are commenti...

Running A Healthy Mind and Body. Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Vacation Day 1: Biking in Farmington. Today was the first official day of my vacation, whoohoo! My son and I drove the 1.5 hrs from our home to enjoy a day of biking in Farmington. We completed the Farmington River Trail (24 miles RT) and rode 16 miles (RT) on the Farmington Canal Heritage Trail which continues up into Massachusetts (about 22 miles from where we started). It is a simple thing but I think one of the coolest part of the trail, for D...
