Sine Qua Non: September 2007
http://sine-qua-non.blogspot.com/2007_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 30, 2007. My bathroom floor is covered with mats. We have two white ovals, which are not really ovals - more like elongated circles, and two blue circles. They are currently arranged on the floor in a neat row - oval circle oval circle. White Blue White Blue. With three women trying to get to work at the same time, it is not long before I am jerked out of my morning reverie. Friday, September 28, 2007. A Question of Character. R finally found a place that meets all these requirements...

Sine Qua Non: Spring has sprung
http://sine-qua-non.blogspot.com/2009/03/spring-has-sprung.html
Saturday, March 14, 2009. The crocuses are in full bloom, the birds. Are in my garden. Spring has finally sprung. April 18, 2009 7:20 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. CLAIRVOYANT PERCEPTIONS: January 2009

Saturday, January 24, 2009. Love By Numbers - My Saarang 09 entry. Well I know I haven't blogged in a while. It doesn't mean I haven't been writing. My latest was the online creative writing for Saarang 2009. I didn't win, but I'm still pretty proud of my work, after all its been ages since I've done anything of the sort. Tell me, young one, of the land from which you come,. Where is your mother? Where is your home? Abandoned, a poisoned derelict; your tears I see,. The following piece is a controversial...

Wednesday, April 11, 2007. Meer and Naeem in : My Girl. My Dusty Trophy? MEER: so why have you called me to the beach on this sultry day? NAEEM: I was just looking at the ocean. Breathtaking isn’t it. I have come here so many times, but haven’t taken the time to actually look and feel its power. That’s a huge amount of water right there. MEER: Indeed, come to the point my friend. NAEEM: I need to ask a small favor of you. MEER: Oh I should’ve known,. MEER: What are you coming too? MEER: Unless you actual...

Friday, June 29, 2007. The League of Nations found out that the Orientals had been rising in power, swiftly and stealthily, behind their backs. They had stolen the resources after the Great Floods and obtained monopoly over the rest of the nations. The Supreme Chancellor decided to end their domination, and gave word to unleash the galaxy’s most powerful weapon, which led to the ultimate demise of life on that lonely planet. 8220;Icara, you look divinely gorgeous today”. 8220;Aren’t I always, Cyan? She s...

Sine Qua Non: October 2007
http://sine-qua-non.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 29, 2007. This weekend as the clocks went back, I gained an hour. A precious gift on a chilly Sunday morning with two 1 AMs. Instead of going back the entire hour at one go, like the rest of England and Europe (Yes, as someone who had to fill countless forms, shell out a 100 quid and jump through hoops to get a visa to Europe despite living in London (or is it because of), I still think they're two very seperate entities), I savoured and spent this hour throughout the day. I went to the w...

Sine Qua Non: March 2009
http://sine-qua-non.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Saturday, March 14, 2009. The cab pulls up outside the hotel. I struggle out, trying to grab my overnight bag and coat in one hand while typing furiously on my blackberry with the other. A storm of flashes go off, I'm mildly disconcerted. My fellow traveller bounds out and smiles, waving his hand. It takes a few seconds for the gathered paparazzi to realize we're not who they were expecting. The cameras go down accompanied by some very French sighing. The crocuses are in full bloom, the birds. I went to ...

Sine Qua Non: February 2007
http://sine-qua-non.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 27, 2007. The distance between Vastrapur and Gandhinagar is roughly 30 odd kilometers. The roundtrip took us about 1.5 hours and 74 km on an open highway. Before you do the mental math, let me clarify that its true what they say - The average man will sooner have a body part waxed than ask for directions! My personal sense of direction has always been a little, shall we say, off. K. is, if possible, much worse :). Credit, we went in exactly. The opposite direction. No mean feat that!
