Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. November 27, 2015. Life is hard for me. I am not naturally wired to see the good in life. It can be a struggle when my day is going south to not fall into a pattern of complaining that drags me further into the pit. It takes a conscious effort to remind myself that even when everything seems broken around me that God is on his throne and this world is only my temporary dwelling place. Can they not then be counted a blessing even in the midst of the pain?

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Newer posts →. August 24, 2014. I started writing this blog two years ago. I was so excited for a platform to share the lessons God was teaching me. As God poured in to me, I would then pour out myself to you. So what happened? Why in the last year have I only made a few posts? Has God been silent? I want to be RELENTLESS! Oh God, HELP ME to be RELENTLESS like you. April 13, 2014. He is surely Alive! That’s the message I am taking to Belize. We are expe...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Author Archives: Mary Ellen. I am crazy in love with my husband, my kids and my Lord Jesus. I want others to know that a life with Jesus is the only life worth living. When I put my life in perspective to God's greater plan, I understand that it is not about me. My life and everything I have is all for Him. November 27, 2015. The grace question are they driving me deeper into the embrace of my Savior? When we give thanks for the giving we embody thanks-...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Monthly Archives: February 2015. LIVING THE “YES”. February 22, 2015. Do you remember when you were a child and wanted something so badly you did everything you could to get your parents to say Yes? You made every promise you could for an affirmative response. Who can forget the disappointment we felt when the answer was No? Need I go on? I love what Beth Moore says: God says ‘yes’ to joy even in difficult circumstances, ‘yes’ to wealth even in poverty,...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. January 18, 2015. I just saw the movie Into the Woods and I loved it. I have always been a fan of the theater, so when it is brought to life in a movie through song I am in heaven. I felt the same way after seeing Les Miserable. There was something else though about this movie that resonated with my soul, the biblical truths I saw woven into the story. Stay on the Path. We are not Alone. Return to the Garden. Why Does It Hurt So Much?

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Why Does It Hurt So Much? January 26, 2014. Why does it hurt so much? We are expected to accept death as a natural part of life. It is not. In the words of Max Lucado, God’s original plan had no farewell no final breath, day or heartbeat. People say God doesn’t give you more than you can handle. I totally disagree. If we can handle everything why would we need God? We also understand why it hurts so much. This is not our home. January 26, 2014 at 4:47 pm.

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Category Archives: Walking with God. A Walk to Remember. November 2, 2014. God is always encouraging me to ask others to join me on my journey. He has blessed me with a lot of great walking companions along the way. Some have crossed my path for a specific purpose and others have clocked quite a few miles on this trek with Him and me. I am especially grateful for those who have encouraged me to keep walking when I was ready to call it quits.

In the Beginning

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. January 1, 2015. This year instead of questioning the process I want to focus on what’s promised in Romans 8:28, that He will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purposes. I can’t wait to see the revelation of His perfect plan. This entry was posted in God. 2 thoughts on “ In the Beginning. January 3, 2015 at 4:44 pm. January 4, 2015 at 7:46 am.
