Blogging my adventures in life. PA Class of 2011 Didactic year is complete! August 11, 2010. Yesterday was the culmination of almost a year straight of study and classwork for Maggie and her PA classmates at Yale as they pursue their PA degree. 40 tests up, 40 down! Now they have 3 weeks off before a couple weeks of training on clinical tasks such as giving IVs, drawing blood and other essential hands on skills needed before they begin clinical rotations in mid-September. Blogging my adventures in life. Picture worth a thousand words. SQL Saturday 71 – Boston re-cap →. Bird Rescue Part 3. February 3, 2011. This morning Maggie noticed we had ANOTHER bird stuck in our wood stove! I blame the insane winter weather we are having lately for the birds wanting to take refuge in our chimney at all costs. It was a chaotic couple minutes, but luckily it didn’t damage anything or defecate anywhere. Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures of the hilarity that ensued. Bryan's Co...

A day in the life of K: Stitch Fix Review

http://kjovle.blogspot.com/2014/04/stitch-fix-review.html

A day in the life of K. Wednesday, April 23, 2014. I've had numerous people asking me about Stitch Fix. A little about Stitch Fix. You fill out a profile of yourself online. You tell about your body, sizes, what you tend to like, rate some clothes collections, give price ranges for spending, and how out of your comfort zone you want to go. I think it auto signs you up for getting a fix every month but it looks very easy to skip months you don't want. It's a silky material. With my fix came this sheet wit...

A day in the life of K: July 2013

http://kjovle.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html

A day in the life of K. Wednesday, July 24, 2013. Where did July go? Clearly this month has been busy because I haven't blogged at all! Get ready for a long one. We had a wonderful 4th of July BBQ hosted by the Moehrings. I forgot my camera that day so I only got one pic with my phone! We had a long fun weekend filled with family fun outings. We went back to the Lorence Berry Farm to pick strawberries. Same one that we visited last year. My sister had her baby boy! Kensi's still loving the exersaucer.

The Eid's Have It: 2013 Butterflies: E.F.G.H

http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/08/2013-butterflies-efgh.html

Monday, August 26, 2013. 2013 Butterflies: E.F.G.H. Below is one of my favorite pictures. It shows the four later stages of development. A caterpillar in its “J” formation before it envelopes into a chrysalis. Then 2 chrysalises already formed and our first newly hatched butterfly. The black chrysalis below is just a few hours from emerging into a butterfly. The green one on the left is about a week out. And also he was anything but shy. God’s Grace has a hand in this incredible process. I know...For our...

The Eid's Have It: Summer is a Blur.

http://eidshaveit.blogspot.com/2013/08/summer-is-blur.html

Sunday, August 11, 2013. Summer is a Blur. Does anyone else know what happened to July 2013? It was here because I remember things like the 4th of July, a few great trips to Sandy Lake and overall a lot of fun with friends. I think I may have even turned another year older—but now, all of a sudden, I looked at the calendar and it is August. Crazy. Nope Not yet. Just stay away a little bit longer…. And an overall feeling of warm fuzzies when the days end. The girls are playing beautifully together-jus...

A day in the life of K: 15 Months

http://kjovle.blogspot.com/2014/04/15-months.html

A day in the life of K. Tuesday, April 22, 2014. I wish I could take this age, bottle it up, and keep it forever. Everything you do is new and exciting. You change by the day and it's so fun to watch it unfold. I was really hoping by this post I could say you are walking and you are! You want to be just like your big sister and do everything she does. With Sienna's Mi Mi - you do have your own smaller version to cuddle. Hopefully by 18 months you will give us a break until the 2 year molars come in.

Aaron Teasdale: web log

Aaron Teasdale: web log. December 25, 2014. A most unusual Christmas. This is our Christmas tree from last year. My wife, Jacqueline, made it Swiss Family Robinson-style from little pieces of ocean driftwood tied together with blades of grass. The gifts are packs of gum, little packages of cookies, and other things wed bought for each other on the sly at street markets and the little, family-owned pulperias. How would we make it special for the kids? But first we had to get there. . Links to this post.
