Save Our Teaching Health Center Programs. Teaching Health Center programs across the country are in jeopardy if the U.S. Congress fails to enact legislation extending the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education (THCGME) program past September 30, 2017. A two-year extension Congress approved on a bipartisan basis early in 2015 will sunset unless Senators and Representatives agree on similar legislation in the next few months.
