The garden was ok when we moved in but its wasn't quit us. As I told my brother .it was time to move a thing or two around. I'll probable move that tree one day. Now I should have known better than to pass a casual remark to by brother, for when I came home from work he'd gnawed through my tree. With the tree gone it was time to move dirt.

They said the boat was going to the Isle of White but it went the white continent! They said we would be living in a 2 up 2 down, but it ended up 40 feet below. They said there would be central heating and there was. Well the kitchen was in the centre and that was warm. What they didn't say was the dorm was in the fridge at -2. C and the honey pots (Toilets) were in the freezer at -12. But this was home for the next two years. Link to British Antarctic Survey.

I have worked with the power supplies for Fusion research for the last 16 years. Most of this time has been at the UK Fusion Research Centre, at the Culham Science Centre,. Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
