UltraBobban; ultramarathon running adventures. Saturday, 4 April 2015. Compton Downland 40/20 Race Report. No way. Kelvin whizzed past looking in fine fettle. He was really enjoying himself. UltraBobban; ultramarathon running adventures. Saturday, 21 June 2014. Race Report South Downs Marathon. Marathon #51 was a bit of a worry from the start. I have not run more than 10 miles in the last 2 months and have been getting in junk miles. However I entered this with the trepidation of a lamb to the slaughter and you might well want to douse my quads in mint sauce this evening! Coming into the finish was great. I forgot how good a big finish was! Saturday, June 21, 2014. Links to this post. No you...

http://ultrabobban.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
UltraBobban; ultramarathon running adventures. Sunday, 15 March 2015. Race Report: Ranscombe Challenge. I woke up a little unsure of myself before this race. I haven't done any serious miles recently and with a promising start to the year with the Tanners, have not got over 18 miles in the last 9 weeks. Still, with a coffee and marmite on toast in my belly I ventured out into the heavy rain and whizzed down to the Medway on the North Downs to Ranscombe Park. Sunday, March 15, 2015. http://www.naominf.com/2015/04/south-downs-way-50.html
These days I call myself a runner. Wednesday, 8 April 2015. South Downs Way 50. With things having gone so poorly in the last few months, and with so little preparation in the week leading up to the race, it was with some trepidation that I arrived in Worthing on Saturday morning, looking for the start of Centurion’s South Downs Way 50 miler. That soon gave way to mild panic when I realised I’d arrived at the wrong place. Good to get all the mistakes and problems out of the way in the first hour of arriv...

These days I call myself a runner. Tuesday, 30 June 2015. The Great Barrow Challenge - 4in4. This weekend, I took part in the Great Barrow Challenge in Suffolk. It's a running festival, with people taking on half marathons, marathons, ultras, and combinations of the three, over a 10 day period. The most extreme option is running 10 x 50km ultras in 10 days! 65279;However, it turns out, running marathons is actually pretty tough. I think with all the ultras, I'd forgotten. Us at ZZ Top. But through force ...
